Our EDI experts handle your complete Amazon EDI setup, from initial connectivity and testing to final certification. We work with every Amazon program: Vendor Central, Direct Fulfillment, and Seller Central. For businesses requiring deeper automation, our technical team can integrate your Amazon-specific 850, 855, 856, and 810 transactions directly into your ERP system. We build the custom logic necessary to eliminate manual entry and maintain 100% compliance.
We handle every aspect of Amazon EDI compliance so your purchase orders keep moving and your shipments get received without issues.
We review Amazon's EDI requirements, your Vendor Central setup, your ERP system, and current workflows to determine the best integration approach for your business.
We build custom EDI maps to Amazon's specifications, including item and cost matching, carton-level ASN detail, and GS1-128 shipping labels.
We set up your AS2 or SFTP connection and run end-to-end testing with Amazon to validate every transaction set before going live.
Launch your fully automated Amazon EDI connection. Your documents flow on time while our team monitors and manages everything 24/7.
Amazon works with suppliers in three ways, and each one connects differently. We handle all three and integrate each of them with your ERP.
Amazon buys from you wholesale
Amazon sends purchase orders and you ship to its fulfillment centers. EDI is how the orders, acknowledgments, ship notices, and invoices move. We set up the connection, pass Amazon's testing, and keep every document on time.
What we automate
You ship Amazon's orders to the customer
Amazon sends you the customer's order and you ship it straight to their door. Amazon needs to know what you have in stock and expects fast acknowledgments and shipment confirmations. We automate all of it from your ERP or warehouse system.
What we automate
You sell on the Amazon marketplace
Seller Central does not use traditional EDI documents. We connect to Amazon's API instead and integrate it with your ERP. Marketplace orders arrive in your system automatically, and tracking and inventory updates go back to Amazon without manual entry.
What we automate
We support all required and optional EDI transaction sets for Amazon compliance, for both Vendor Central and Direct Fulfillment.
We set up and maintain your direct connection to Amazon, including certificates, IDs, and connection testing.
Amazon measures how quickly and accurately you respond. We automate your 855s and 856s so they go out on time.
Our team validates documents against Amazon's rules before they are sent, and monitors for rejections around the clock.

They worked closely with ours to ensure smooth mapping, testing, and validation across all required documents including POs, ASNs, invoices, and acknowledgements. Amazon Vendor Central vendors exchange a core set of EDI documents: the 850 (Purchase Order), 855 (Purchase Order Acknowledgment), 856 (Advance Ship Notice), and 810 (Invoice), along with the 997 (Functional Acknowledgment). Depending on your program, Amazon may also use the 846 (Inventory Advice), which matters most for Direct Fulfillment, the 753 and 754 routing documents for collect freight, and the 820 (Remittance Advice). Infocon Systems supports every Amazon transaction set and handles the mapping, testing, and daily monitoring for you.
Amazon EDI setup usually takes a few weeks. The timeline depends on how many documents you are implementing, how quickly test files move through Amazon's Vendor Central testing process, and whether you want the documents integrated into your ERP. Infocon Systems manages the full project, from connection setup and mapping through Amazon's testing and go-live, so your team is not learning Amazon's specifications on its own.
Amazon supports both. Vendors can connect to Amazon through AS2 or through an SFTP connection, and the choice is made during EDI setup in Vendor Central. Infocon Systems sets up and maintains either connection for you, including certificates, identifiers, and connection testing, so documents move securely between Amazon and your business.
Yes. Amazon EDI can be integrated with any ERP, accounting, or warehouse system. Infocon Systems builds the integration so Amazon purchase orders flow into your system as sales orders, and your acknowledgments, ship notices, and invoices are sent back to Amazon automatically. The same applies to Seller Central orders, which Infocon Systems integrates through Amazon's API. Infocon Systems works with NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, Sage, Acumatica, and any other system, including custom-built software.
Most Amazon EDI chargebacks come from late or inaccurate documents: purchase orders that are not acknowledged on time, ASNs that arrive late or do not match the shipment, and carton labels that do not match the ASN. Infocon Systems reduces that risk by automating your 855 and 856 documents, validating them against Amazon's rules before they are sent, and monitoring your account 24/7 so errors are caught and corrected quickly.
It depends on the program. Vendor Central, where Amazon buys your products wholesale, runs on EDI for purchase orders, acknowledgments, ship notices, and invoices. Direct Fulfillment, where you ship Amazon's orders straight to the customer, uses the same EDI documents plus an inventory feed. Seller Central, the marketplace where you sell under your own account, does not use traditional EDI and connects through Amazon's API instead. Infocon Systems handles all three: fully managed EDI for Vendor Central and Direct Fulfillment, and API integration that brings Seller Central orders into your ERP and sends tracking and inventory updates back to Amazon.
Amazon EDI pricing depends on your transaction volume, the documents you need, and whether you want the documents integrated into your ERP system.
